Realize your health goals
Acupuncture is more than just needles!
Each session is a comprehensive combination of modalities to help you reach your health goals. Read more about the services offered below.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the gentle insertion of tiny, sterile, single-use needles into specific points on the body. These points stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue, and increase circulation, oxygen, and nutrients, thereby promoting your body’s natural healing mechanisms.

Moxa
Moxa, or moxibustion, is the burning of an herb called mugwort. Burning this herb over acupuncture points and areas of pain, discomfort, and/or stagnation can stimulate circulation, warm the energy channels, and alleviate pain. A smokeless form of this herb will make this a pleasant addition to your session.
Cupping
Cupping involves the application of glass cups to the skin by creating a vacuum using heat. This technique improves circulation, releases toxins, and increases the elasticity of the skin and muscles. The cups can be left stationary or moved across the skin with massage oils.
Gua sha is another technique that may be used in place of cupping, where a smooth-edged tool scrapes the skin to relieve pain and stagnation, release toxins, and improve circulation.

Tui Na
Tui na is a form of Chinese bodywork that is both relaxing and stimulating. It improves circulation, relieves pain, and is effective for conditions involving muscles, tendons, and joints.
Foot reflexology will also be incorporated in a session by pressing and massaging points on the feet corresponding to different organs and systems, promoting relaxation and benefiting overall health.
